The Adventure Continues!
Everyone seems to have faith, thought Fyn, desperately trying to find it for himself.
Fyn Carter needs answers. How is he connected to Atlantis? What happened to him in the Hall of Records? Can he find a way to travel safely between worlds?
Picking up directly after the action-packed events of Fyn Carter and the Agents of Eromlos, Fyn journeys to new parts of the parallel Earth and discovers the intriguing Legends from Atlantis.
The agents will stop at nothing to fulfil their devious plans… What will it cost to save the people of Eromlos and return home?
Guest Q and A from author, Ian:
Q - What would you say is one of the key themes of 'Fyn Carter and the Legends from Atlantis'?
A - In the first book ('Fyn Carter and the Agents of Eromlos'), one of the themes was: Who can Fyn trust? In this sequel, trust is still a big theme, but, this time, the question is: Can Fyn trust himself?
Q - What was the biggest challenge with writing a sequel?
A - It was absolutely a challenge to get the balance right in terms of recap. I needed to make sure that the story recap would be suitable for returning readers who remember book one, but I also needed it to be suitable for people who may have forgotten key events in book one or not read book one at all. I ensured that my beta readers covered various groups of people to take those scenarios on board. Another challenge was to make sure that the key parts of this story fit within my bigger series plan (because I have BIG plans for the series!).
Q - What are the Legends from Atlantis?
A - That would be a big spoiler! At a high level, they are stories which have been passed down over time and originated in Atlantis. The way that people view the legends shapes large parts of the story in 'Fyn Carter and the Legends from Atlantis'.
Q - Why did you choose to write something which is related to Atlantis?
A - I have always been fascinated by the idea of Atlantis. Whenever I see or hear of something related to it, I am instantly intrigued. When I was planning the Fyn Carter series and realised I could relate elements of it to Atlantis, I was really excited to see how it could shape up!
Q - What's next for you as an author?
A - I have a standalone story that is already drafted (I worked on it between drafts of the first two Fyn books) that I want to edit. In between edits for that, I will be diving into planning for the rest of the Fyn Carter series. While I'm here, I just want to say thank you, Rich, for taking part in this Fyn Carter Blog Tour!
