I loved this - a classic twisty, turny thriller with red herrings, daring heroines, sidekicks and family secrets aplenty- it ticked lots of boxes and kept me engrossed till the last page to find out what happened. Full of historical detail alongside the action, it is deservedly garnering plaudits for the author, and I can't wait to read more in this great series and find out what comes next for Alice!
