An timely, festive release that is sure to be a welcome delivery this Christmas for anyone lucky enough to receive it! This bright and attractive book follows Santa on his quest to find the perfect present for Amy, whose letter has been damaged on its way to the North Pole.
Suggestions from the to-be-expected cast of helpers at the North Pole aren't quite right, and we follow Santa's journey wondering whether it will all turn out ok in the end after all....
Full of festive characters and settings, humour, fun and very enjoyable fold-out letters from the characters concerned, this is a great pre-Christmas read-together for a younger audience, or an engaging independent read for slightly older believers! Bright illustrations accompany the not-insignificant amount of text, and I particularly enjoyed the different 'voices' of the letter-writers who replied to Santa's appeal for help on his quest.
Thanks to Walker Books for the lovely festive gifts and review copy of the book. (Special shout out for the amazing gingerbread from https://www.biscuiteers.com/ !_
